Account Manager

Position Summary:
As an Account Manager, you will be provided a book of business to maintain and build upon. In addition, you will be provided warm customer leads through a well-established pipeline to add to your book weekly. You will be exposed to a wide array of printed products, lithographic and digital printing, grand format printing, mailing and premium products (pens, cups, mugs and garments). There is a vast opportunity of growth potential in joining our sales force!
Duties & Responsibilities:
Account Management:
  • Maintain and grow your assigned base of clients
  • Identify top prospects for growth
  • Execute a sales plan for obtaining new clients
  • Close and grow sales through professional communication with existing and potential clients
  • Solicit customers with new Products and Services, by cold calling and email solicitation
  • Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating features, benefits of our products and services effectively
  • Meet or exceed an established monthly sales goal
  • Offer and sell mark-ups when possible, above the company’s standard pricing
  • Generate a “Funnel” of suspects, prospects and customers to maintain growth
  • Promote design orders and custom packaging
  • Check status and follow up on all assigned accounts, work with Account
  • Coordinator/Ops Teams as necessary
  • Check status and follow up on custom jobs
  • Maintain knowledge of competitor products and pricing
  • Follow up on promotions and any mailings generated for customers
Order & Quote Entry:
  • Deliver price quotes/estimates for customers and convert to orders
  • Work with Estimating team to understand and develop solutions to fit customer requests
  • Provide shipping and freight quotes when requested
  • Check Internal Management System for alerts assigned daily
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the design tools and price calculations
Customer Support:
  • Input problem tickets and reprints when required. Follow up with CS Ops on follow through
  • Input any special packaging and handling requirements for customers
  • Generate sample requests for accounts when requested
  • Review your customer list for any orders in process daily
  • Follow up daily with CS Ops with any problems with above
Required Experience / Qualifications:
  • 2+ years sales or Account Management experience – preferably in the E-commerce Printing industry (offset, Digital, Large Format)
  • 2+ years experience using CRM software (Salesforce, ACT, Goldmine or Hubspot).
  • 2+ years experience growing current customer/account sales
  • 2+ years excellent customer service using multi-line phone system
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong understanding of Digital Room’s Internal Management System (IMS), or ability to learn quickly
  • Strong understanding of ganged sheet process or ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Customer-focused attitude
  • Strong understanding of printing or ability to learn quickly
  • Flexibility and willingness to take on new projects and requests as they arise
  • Good problem-solving skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
Location:
Van Nuys, California  or  WFH
